Character Creation for The Waylanders allows players to fully customize their hero. In creating your character, you will be given the opportunity to choose your race and a basic class, as well as the background of your character and selecting a variety of hairstyles, hair color, and many more. The Waylanders Character Creation
In The Waylanders when you create your character, you need to decide their Body Type, Race, Background and physical appearance. Start by selecting the body type of your hero. You can choose between Male o Female, keep in mind that Mourian race is the only race that the choice of Body Type influences the type of background you can choose later.
Stats
Depending on the Race, Body Type and Background the initial Stats of your character will vary. If you are seeking for min/max you can use the following table:

Race
Once the body type is selected, it will be the turn to choose the race of our hero. There are 4 different races that players can choose during character creation that not only changes the appearance but it also affects its traits, dialogues, and interactions within the game.
Class
After we have chosen the body type and race, it will be time to define the class type of our character. Classes in The Waylanders determines the playstyle of your hero, choosing a particular class affects the hero's stats, skills, abilities, and starting gear.
In The Waylanders, a player gets to choose 6 basic classes during character customization, however, as players progress through the game, they will be able to further upgrade their hero by following a new path to learning an advanced class or sub-class, there are 30 advanced classes that players can choose later on.
Background
The third step in the creation of our character corresponds to the selection of Background. Background in The Waylanders affects starting Skills and Abilities the player has. What Background you can choose varies depending on the Races and Classes that you select in the steps before. Some Backgrounds are available to any Classes, but most are not. Be sure to check which Races and Classes are needed if you'd like to select a specific Background from the list below.

We have already selected the main aspects of our hero, it only remains to give it the final touch. now it's time to customize your look.

Attributes
Once the appearance of our hero has been defined, we will access the Stats section that contains information regarding the basic assets that build around the player's character. From indicating the value of the player's life, the damage value of a weapon, and defense value for various resistances.
We have 8 attribute points to add to the 6 different Basic Hero Stats we've started with. Think carefully about how to award them according to your style and game preferences.
Strength
Brute force, immunity, and intimidation. Increases Resilience
Constitution
Pain tolerance, endurance, and bravado. Increases Health.
Agility
A character's dexterity, coordination, and cunning. Increases Dodge - Chance.
Perception
Environmental awareness, problem-solving, and conversational insight. Increases Critical Chance.
Intelligence
Analytical thinking and careful assessment. Increases Efficiency - Abilities.
Willpower
Determination, readiness, and tenacity. Increases Speed- Cooldown.
We are almost finished configuring and creating our Hero, only the final step remains. It is time to give our character a name, choose his pronoun and his tone of voice. You can choose the pronoun between: He, She, They.
Regarding the voice selection, The Waylanders allows us to choose between 5 different voices. Listen to them all, and then choose your favorite
